My apartment, of 4 rooms.

Situated in the Marquês area, in Porto, 1 minute from the metro, it is surrounded by everything you need to make a living without leaving the surrounding area.

Built in 1958, the first person to inhabit the building was my grandfather (and still lives at the height of his 94 years!), So, the house has a decoration based on memories that have changed little over time. It is a 3rd floor, no elevator, you have to climb the stairs, to read the walls worn of stories, where each wrinkle shows a smile .... a tear, is an inspiring sensation.

At the entrance of the apartment, a long corridor, gives us access to the 150m2 of the house, large divisions, portray the 4 bedrooms, the living room, the bathroom, the kitchen and the sunroom that constitute it.

In the corridor, between the white walls and green carpet, there is a small corner furniture, with portraits of those who have lived here and now live in the sky. In the background, a small closet where the phone rests. The room continues with the same green carpet but with pink walls. It has a cupboard, two sofas of a place, a corner furniture for the television, a table with four chairs, all in brown tones.

The four rooms only vary in the tone of the walls and carpets, pink or white walls, burgundy or green or light brown carpets, with a typical layout: a bed, two bedside tables, dresser, wardrobe and individual couch. The kitchen, simple, but functional, needs modernization, as well as the bathroom, both aesthetic and functional, the water pipes are original, the water pressure is quite weak.

The marquise, has storage cupboards and a sink for washing.

The apartment in general has good woods, good areas and well divided, construction of "iron". The windows of origin trespass the noise of the street and the cold in the winter. 

I'm happy in this house. One day when I leave, I will be less happy and the memories of this house, become my memories, only mine.
